Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort, categorize, and organize donated items (e.g., clothing, food, toys, household goods) according to established guidelines.
- Accurately pack items into boxes, bags, or other containers, ensuring proper labeling and inventory tracking.
- Inspect items for quality and suitability for donation, setting aside damaged or inappropriate goods.
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments and deliveries as needed, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe packing area, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and volunteers to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, hand truck) safely and responsibly, if trained.
- Provide support for other logistical and administrative tasks as required to meet operational needs.
