Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently sort, categorize, and organize donated items (e.g., clothing, food, toys, household goods) according to established guidelines.
  • Accurately pack items into boxes, bags, or other containers, ensuring proper labeling and inventory tracking.
  • Inspect items for quality and suitability for donation, setting aside damaged or inappropriate goods.
  • Assist with loading and unloading shipments and deliveries as needed, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe packing area, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and volunteers to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, hand truck) safely and responsibly, if trained.
  • Provide support for other logistical and administrative tasks as required to meet operational needs.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality and ethical conduct.
