Key Responsibilities

  • Assist chefs with daily food preparation, including chopping, slicing, dicing, and portioning ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workstation, ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are met.
  • Help with cooking and plating dishes under the supervision of senior chefs.
  • Receive and store deliveries, checking for quality and quantity.
  • Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment.
  • Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
  • Contribute to a positive and efficient kitchen environment through teamwork and effective communication.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations meticulously.

Required Skills

  • Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
