As a Chef de Partie, you will be a pivotal member of our kitchen brigade, responsible for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes within your designated station. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., Larder, Saucier, Garde Manger).
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes, standards, and guest preferences.
  • Manage, train, and mentor junior kitchen staff, including Commis Chefs and apprentices.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations (HACCP standards).
  • Monitor inventory levels for your section, place orders, and minimize waste.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work station at all times.
  • Actively contribute to menu development, daily specials, and seasonal offerings.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and other kitchen team members.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed, ensuring freshness and quality.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in an equivalent leadership role for at least 2 years.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various culinary techniques, kitchen operations, and cooking methods.
  • Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP certification is a plus).
  • Creativity and passion for developing and presenting visually appealing and delicious dishes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Culinary diploma, certificate, or equivalent professional training.
  • Experience with diverse cuisines and international cooking styles.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software or systems.
  • Previous experience in a fine dining restaurant, hotel, or a high-volume catering establishment.
