Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and create innovative menus, daily specials, and culinary offerings that reflect current food trends and guest preferences.
  • Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring consistency and exceptional quality.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
  • Maintain strict adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards (HACCP principles) at all times.
  • Monitor inventory, manage stock levels, and place orders for ingredients, minimizing waste and controlling food costs.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and work areas.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new cooking techniques, and culinary advancements to continually enhance the dining experience.
  • Handle guest feedback and special requests efficiently and professionally.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and culinary innovation.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a reputable hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Exceptional culinary skills with a strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Creative flair and a passion for developing unique and delicious dishes.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
