Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Develop and innovate new menus, recipes, and specials, considering seasonality, cost-effectiveness, and guest preferences.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards (HACCP, ISO 22000) within the kitchen.
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and ensure product availability.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation for all dishes served.
- Collaborate with the F&B management team to achieve departmental goals and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and manage kitchen budgets, food costs, and labor costs to optimize profitability.
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas.
- Handle guest feedback and dietary requests professionally and efficiently.
