We are seeking an exceptional Chief Analytics Officer (CAO) to lead this transformative initiative. The CAO will be a visionary leader responsible for defining and executing our enterprise-wide data analytics strategy, ensuring that data insights are at the forefront of our operational efficiency, resource management, market analysis, and strategic growth initiatives. This pivotal role demands a blend of deep analytical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a profound understanding of the mining or heavy industry sector. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise-wide data analytics strategy aligned with HCCL’s strategic objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers.
- Oversee the collection, management, and analysis of large datasets from various operational, financial, and market sources.
- Drive the adoption of advanced analytical techniques, including machine learning and predictive modeling, to optimize mining operations, maintenance schedules, supply chain, and resource allocation.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to identify key business questions and translate them into analytical projects with measurable business impact.
- Present complex analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior management and board members in a clear and compelling manner.
- Champion a data-driven culture across the organization through training, workshops, and continuous engagement.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance HCCL’s analytical capabilities.

Required Skills
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing data analytics and business intelligence.
- Strong background in data science, statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
- Extensive experience with large-scale data warehouses and data lakes.
