Job Description
We are seeking a highly strategic, innovative, and results-driven Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing initiatives in the Midlands Province, based out of our Redcliff office. As CMO, you will be instrumental in shaping Delta Corporation’s brand presence, market share, and consumer engagement within this key region. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with our overall business objectives, drive brand awareness, foster customer loyalty, and ultimately contribute to sales growth across our diverse product portfolio. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a robust regional marketing strategy aligned with national business goals and local market dynamics.
- Oversee all aspects of regional marketing, including brand management, product launches, digital marketing, public relations, market research, and advertising.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing regional marketing team.
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscapes to identify new opportunities and challenges.
- Manage the regional marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and ROI.
- Drive brand awareness and preference for Delta Corporation's portfolio across the Midlands Province.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns that drive sales volumes and market share.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with media, agencies, and key stakeholders within the region.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data to inform future strategies and optimizations.
- Champion the brand's values and ensure consistent brand messaging across all regional touchpoints.
Required Skills
- Proven track record as a senior marketing leader (CMO, VP Marketing, Marketing Director) for at least 10 years.
- Extensive experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or beverage industry.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies that drive measurable results.
- Strong understanding of the Zimbabwean market, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, analytics, and CRM platforms.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage complex budgets and deliver campaigns within financial constraints.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
