Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead educators in planning and implementing daily activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Support children with daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and toileting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning environment.
- Engage children in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
- Observe and document children's progress and behavior, reporting any concerns to the lead educator.
- Communicate effectively and positively with children, parents, and fellow staff members.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene policies and procedures.
- Assist with preparing snacks and light meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare setting (e.g., kindergarten, day-care, nannying).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain rapidly).
- Fluency in German (B2 level or higher) is essential for effective communication with children and parents.
Preferred Qualifications
