Key Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities tailored to developmental stages.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment, including tidying up play areas and sanitizing toys.
- Provide direct care to children, including assisting with meal times, nap times, and personal hygiene as needed.
- Engage children in positive interactions, encouraging social-emotional development, problem-solving, and imaginative play.
- Observe and document children's behavior and progress, reporting any concerns or achievements to the lead teacher.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with parents, guardians, and fellow staff members.
- Assist with preparing materials and setting up for various classroom activities and projects.
- Support children with special needs or requiring additional assistance, following established protocols.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and parents.
