Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead caregivers and educators in supervising children during daily activities, playtime, and mealtimes.
- Engage children in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment, including sanitizing toys and equipment.
- Help children with personal care routines, such as toilet training, napping, and handwashing.
- Observe and report any behavioral issues, developmental concerns, or accidents to senior staff.
- Prepare snacks and assist with meal distribution, ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's day as instructed by lead staff.
- Support the implementation of daily schedules and routines.
- Ensure all safety protocols and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills
- Proven experience working with young children (ages 0-6).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain quickly).
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certification in early childhood education or childcare (e.g., Cache Level 2/3, Nanny Certification).
