Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of childcare professionals, providing guidance and support.
- Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational activities and curricula.
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and positive development of all children under care.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Foster strong relationships with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on children's progress.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and facilitate professional development within the team.
- Manage daily operations of the childcare setting, including scheduling and resource allocation.
- Act as a positive role model for both children and staff.
- Participate actively in provided leadership and childcare training programs.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a childcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of child development stages.
- Ability to plan and execute engaging educational activities.
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.

- First Aid and Safeguarding certification (or willingness to obtain).

- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Care (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role within childcare.
- Familiarity with EYFS framework (Early Years Foundation Stage).

- IT literacy for administrative tasks and communication.
