Key Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising children during playtime, educational activities, and daily routines.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment conducive to children's growth and development.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, including storytelling, arts and crafts, and outdoor play.
- Support children with personal care tasks such as feeding, changing, and napping, as needed.
- Observe and report any behavioral or developmental concerns to parents or senior staff.
- Collaborate with parents and other caregivers to ensure consistent and personalized care for each child.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, health regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively and positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Assist with light housekeeping related to childcare areas, ensuring tidiness and hygiene.
Required Skills
- Proven experience working with children in a formal or informal setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for children.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Preferred Qualifications
- OND/HND or relevant certification in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a nannying, daycare assistant, or camp counselor.
- Knowledge of child development stages and age-appropriate activities.
