Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
- Engage children in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, including reading, arts and crafts, and outdoor play.
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, napping, diaper changing, and toilet training.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment conducive to child development.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities.
- Observe and document children’s behavior, development, and any concerns.
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and follow emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with other caregivers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive childcare setting.
Required Skills
- Proven experience working with children (personal or professional)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing demeanor
- Ability to adapt to various age groups and individual child needs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of child development stages
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certification in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
