Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior staff in planning and implementing engaging educational and recreational activities appropriate for various age groups.
  • Support children with their daily routines, including mealtimes, nap times, and personal care, promoting independence where possible.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, adhering strictly to health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating learning environment, helping with tidying up and setting up activity stations.
  • Observe children's behaviour and development, reporting any concerns or achievements to the appropriate senior staff member.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting open communication and a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development opportunities.
  • Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the protection and welfare of every child.
  • Provide basic administrative support as needed, such as maintaining records or assisting with parent communications.
