Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior staff in planning and implementing engaging educational and recreational activities appropriate for various age groups.
- Support children with their daily routines, including mealtimes, nap times, and personal care, promoting independence where possible.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, adhering strictly to health and safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating learning environment, helping with tidying up and setting up activity stations.
- Observe children's behaviour and development, reporting any concerns or achievements to the appropriate senior staff member.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting open communication and a welcoming atmosphere.
- Participate actively in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development opportunities.
- Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the protection and welfare of every child.
- Provide basic administrative support as needed, such as maintaining records or assisting with parent communications.
