Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting the perfect Christmas tree.
- Measure and tag trees accurately according to size and type.
- Provide information on tree care and maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist with loading trees onto customer vehicles, ensuring secure transport.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the tree lot, including clearing fallen needles and debris.
- Help with the initial setup and final teardown of the tree lot equipment and displays.
- Operate basic tools safely and efficiently as needed (e.g., measuring tape, twine cutter).
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, if applicable, or direct customers to payment stations.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and a festive atmosphere.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
Required Skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to help.
- Ability to lift and carry trees of varying sizes (up to 50 lbs) with assistance if needed.
