Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Draftsman to join our growing team in Lindenhof, Mannheim. Key Responsibilities
- Produce highly accurate and comprehensive technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for various civil engineering projects using CAD software.
- Develop detailed designs for roads, bridges, drainage systems, water supply networks, and other infrastructure components.
- Collaborate closely with civil engineers and project managers to translate design concepts into precise visual representations.
- Review and revise drawings based on engineer feedback, project requirements, and regulatory changes.
- Ensure all drafting work adheres strictly to relevant German building codes, industry standards, and internal quality protocols.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and material schedules from drawings for cost estimation and procurement purposes.
- Maintain organized records of all project drawings, revisions, and documentation.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss design specifications, progress, and potential challenges.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Civil Draftsman or similar role.
- Expert proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation).
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction methodologies.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in technical drafting.
- Ability to interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and reports.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in German (B2 level or higher) and English.
