Hitech Construction Company Ltd is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer Assistant to join our dynamic project team in Lekki Phase 2, Lagos. As a Civil Engineer Assistant, you will play a crucial supporting role in various phases of our construction projects, from initial planning and design review to on-site execution and project closeout. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior Civil Engineers in planning, designing, and supervising construction projects.
- Conduct site inspections and surveys to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
- Monitor construction progress and assist in quality control procedures and material testing.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and material inventories.
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, bills of quantities, and project budgets.
- Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and best practices on-site.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Engineer or Manager.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Strong understanding of fundamental civil engineering principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
