Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the initial intake and comprehensive documentation of new insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate professionally and empathetically with policyholders, witnesses, and other parties involved in the claims process to gather necessary information.
- Organize, maintain, and update claim files, ensuring all relevant documents, correspondence, and evidence are accurately recorded and accessible.
- Support senior claims adjusters with in-depth research, data analysis, and the preparation of detailed reports and summaries.
- Actively learn and meticulously apply company policies, procedures, and relevant provincial and federal insurance regulations.
- Respond to inquiries from policyholders and internal stakeholders, providing clear, concise, and accurate information under direct supervision.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including legal, underwriting, and customer service departments, to ensure seamless claim processing and resolution.
