Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough reviews of incoming claims, including supporting documentation, policy terms, and relevant legislation.
- Assess claim validity and eligibility, ensuring adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Approve or deny claims based on comprehensive analysis, providing clear and concise explanations for all decisions.
- Collaborate with adjusters, investigators, and legal teams to gather additional information or clarify complex aspects of claims.
- Identify and escalate suspicious or fraudulent claims for further investigation.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claim activities, decisions, and communications in the claims management system.
- Communicate effectively with policyholders, brokers, and internal stakeholders regarding claim status and outcomes.
- Participate in continuous training and professional development to stay updated on industry changes and best practices.
- Contribute to the refinement of claims processing procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Claims Adjuster or in a similar claims review/approvals role.

- Excellent understanding of insurance policies, coverages, and claims regulations.
- Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to make sound, ethical decisions under pressure.
