As a Commercial & Domestic Cleaner, you will be an integral part of ensuring that our clients’ premises, whether offices, retail spaces, or private homes, are presented immaculately. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces in commercial buildings and private residences.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas thoroughly, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Empty waste bins, transport waste to designated disposal areas, and ensure proper waste management.
- Polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings to a high standard, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the premises.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed, maintaining inventory levels.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and company policies regarding cleaning products and procedures.
- Manage cleaning inventory, reporting needs for supplies or equipment maintenance promptly.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all domestic settings, respecting client privacy.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within allocated timeframes and to client specifications, ensuring satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with clients or supervisors regarding any issues, special requests, or feedback.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in commercial or domestic cleaning roles.
- Strong understanding of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment usage.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and manage time efficiently across multiple tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and bending.
- Valid UK driving license and access to reliable transportation (highly preferred for travelling between sites).
Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 1 or 2 in Cleaning and Support Services or equivalent vocational qualification.
- Experience with COSHH regulations and safe handling of chemicals.
- Familiarity with various floor care techniques (e.g., buffing, stripping, waxing).
- Previous experience working for a professional cleaning agency or contractor.
- Basic First Aid certification or willingness to undertake training.
