Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and prepare hotel rooms and bathrooms to the highest Premier Inn standards, ensuring all areas are spotless and well-maintained.
  • Change bed linen, replenish towels, and restock guest amenities according to hotel guidelines.
  • Clean and tidy communal areas, including corridors, lobbies, and staff facilities.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained, cleaned, and stored correctly.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items promptly to management.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including COSHH procedures, to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team to meet daily cleaning schedules and deadlines.
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner when encountered.
  • Manage and maintain laundry duties, ensuring a fresh supply of linen and towels.

Required Skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic, with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
  • Good physical stamina, capable of performing tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting.
  • Basic understanding of English to communicate with colleagues and understand instructions.
  • Punctual and dependable, understanding the importance of adherence to schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a cleaning, housekeeping, or hospitality role.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures, particularly COSHH.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
