Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for new clients, guiding them through the entire onboarding process from initial contact to full account activation.
  • Assist clients with the completion of necessary documentation for account opening, product applications, and service enrollment, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Educate new clients on RBC’s various banking products, services, digital tools, and resources, tailored to their specific needs and goals.
  • Ensure all client onboarding activities comply with regulatory requirements, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and privacy policies.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal departments, such as sales, compliance, and operations, to resolve any onboarding challenges and expedite processes.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date client records within our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Proactively follow up with new clients to address any questions, provide ongoing support, and ensure a high level of satisfaction during their initial transition.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline the client onboarding experience and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare comprehensive onboarding kits and welcome materials for new clients.
  • Support financial advisors by preparing necessary forms, scheduling follow-up appointments, and ensuring clients are prepared for initial consultations.
  • Continuously learn about new products, services, and regulatory changes relevant to client onboarding and financial services.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with diverse individuals.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • A client-centric mindset with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing client needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a client-facing role, preferably in a service-oriented industry.
