Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, psychological, and social aspects.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, accurately documenting all interventions.
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, laboratory results, and other diagnostic data, reporting changes promptly.
- Provide patient and family education on disease management, treatment plans, and health promotion.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate interventions as required.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain clinical competency.
Required Skills
- State-recognized nursing qualification (e.g., Gesundheits- und Krankenpfleger/in)
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or clinic setting
- Proficiency in German (B2 level or higher) and English communication skills
- Strong understanding of patient care standards and clinical protocols
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and patient-centered approach
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to use electronic health record (EHR) systems
