Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable cloud-based data pipelines.
- Monitor data pipeline performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot data-related issues in collaboration with senior team members.
- Support the implementation of ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver reliable data solutions.
- Contribute to the documentation of data architecture, pipeline processes, and operational procedures.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security standards are met throughout the data lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of data engineering practices.
- Learn and apply new cloud services and data technologies as they evolve.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Familiarity with SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Exposure to scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
