Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking an experienced and innovative Cloud Engineer with a strong command of AWS, Azure, and traditional server deployment to join our forward-thinking team in Prescot, Liverpool. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud solutions on AWS and Azure platforms.
- Manage and optimize traditional server infrastructure (Windows/Linux) and virtualisation.
- Develop and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data security across all environments.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks for cloud and on-premise systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, providing expert-level support.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services and streamline CI/CD pipelines.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM, Lambda).
- Strong proficiency in Azure services (VMs, VNet, Azure AD, App Services, Storage).
- Experience with server administration (Windows Server, Linux distributions).
- Demonstrable knowledge of scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Firewalls).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) or Azure Administrator/Architect certifications.
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Azure Monitor).
- Familiarity with database administration (SQL, NoSQL).
