Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines to streamline software deployment and infrastructure provisioning processes.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, security vulnerabilities, and cost optimization, proactively addressing issues.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with development, operations, and security teams to integrate cloud solutions and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with industry security standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies within cloud environments.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide expert technical support and rapidly resolve critical incidents.
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and strategies to improve system efficiency and reliability.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including core services (compute, storage, networking).
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Solid scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
- Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures.
- Deep understanding of networking concepts (VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, firewalls) and cloud security best practices.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and excellent analytical skills for troubleshooting complex cloud environments.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, crucial for a remote team setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant professional cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, GCP Professional Cloud Engineer).
