Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and high-availability cloud infrastructure on leading platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and infrastructure provisioning.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, security, and cost optimization, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements across all cloud resources.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability in the cloud.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support critical systems.
- Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and best practices, evaluating and recommending new tools and services.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Load Balancing).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in a remote setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate).
- Experience with serverless architectures (Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions).
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
