Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Monitor cloud environments, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement proactive solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices across all cloud resources.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and scalability in the cloud.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for critical incident response as required.
  • Automate routine operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Cloud Infrastructure Engineering or a similar role.
  • Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with certifications highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates).
  • Solid experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, CircleCI).
  • Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, security best practices, and cost optimization in cloud environments.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Multiple cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
  • Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, GCP Cloud Functions).
  • Knowledge of database technologies, both relational and NoSQL.
  • Familiarity with FinOps practices for cloud cost management.
  • Prior experience in a consulting or service delivery environment.
