Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and infrastructure provisioning.
- Monitor cloud environments, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement proactive solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices across all cloud resources.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and scalability in the cloud.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical incident response as required.
- Automate routine operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Cloud Infrastructure Engineering or a similar role.
- Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with certifications highly preferred.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates).
- Solid experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, CircleCI).
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, security best practices, and cost optimization in cloud environments.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Multiple cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, GCP Cloud Functions).
- Knowledge of database technologies, both relational and NoSQL.
- Familiarity with FinOps practices for cloud cost management.
- Prior experience in a consulting or service delivery environment.
