Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to ensure optimal operation.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the cloud environment, ensuring seamless deployment and operation.
- Implement and enforce security best practices for cloud infrastructure, including access control, encryption, and network segmentation.
- Automate routine operational tasks and contribute to the continuous improvement of our CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to maintain system reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance our infrastructure.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Load Balancing).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
