Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of cloud infrastructure across various platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Implement and manage automation tools and scripts for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef).
- Respond to and resolve production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless application deployment and operational readiness.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs through effective management and automation.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements for cloud environments.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new cloud services and infrastructure components.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend new technologies and approaches to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
Required Skills
- Minimum 4 years of experience in cloud operations, DevOps, or SRE roles.
- Strong proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Load Balancing).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
