Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort is seeking a motivated and eager Entry-Level Cloud Operations Helper to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced IT professionals, assisting with the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our essential cloud infrastructure. Your responsibilities will span from monitoring system performance and assisting with routine updates to troubleshooting basic technical issues and documenting processes. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and reliable functioning of systems that support everything from guest reservations and property management to point-of-sale systems and internal communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring cloud-based systems and applications for performance, availability, and security.
  • Perform routine system checks, backups, and maintenance tasks under supervision.
  • Provide first-level technical support and troubleshoot basic cloud-related issues for internal users and guest services.
  • Help maintain accurate documentation of cloud configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.
  • Support the deployment and configuration of new cloud services and features as directed.
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff to identify and resolve recurring technical problems.
  • Participate in the implementation of security best practices for cloud environments.
  • Assist with user access management and permissions within cloud platforms.
  • Learn and apply new cloud technologies and operational tools effectively.
  • Contribute to ensuring high availability and reliability of all critical IT systems across the resort.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
  • Proficiency in using productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
