Career.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Cloud Security Engineer to join our innovative team in Novena, Singapore. In an era where cloud adoption is accelerating, ensuring robust security is paramount. As a Cloud Security Engineer with a flexible schedule, you will play a critical role in identifying potential vulnerabilities, performing security assessments, and developing automated security solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of cloud native security services, identity and access management (IAM), data protection strategies, network security principles, and incident response procedures within a cloud context. You will work closely with development, operations, and compliance teams to embed security throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) and infrastructure provisioning process.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage security controls and policies for multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests against cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Develop and implement automated security solutions and tools using infrastructure as code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, roles, and user access within cloud platforms.
- Monitor cloud security alerts, investigate incidents, and support incident response activities.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the SDLC and DevOps processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) and regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on cloud security best practices and emerging threats.
- Participate in security architecture reviews and contribute to strategic security initiatives.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in cloud security engineering.
- Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP security services and best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Solid knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and web application security.
- Familiarity with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with SIEM tools and security monitoring.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
