Career.zycto is on the hunt for a highly skilled and proactive Cloud Security Engineer to join our innovative team in East Perth, Perth, for an immediate hire. In an era where cloud adoption is accelerating and cyber threats are more sophisticated than ever, your expertise will be crucial in safeguarding our clients’ digital assets and maintaining their trust. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated security professional to play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing robust cloud security architectures across various platforms.

As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be at the forefront of protecting sensitive data and critical infrastructure. You will work within a dynamic environment, collaborating closely with development, operations, and architecture teams to embed security best practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) and cloud infrastructure deployments. Your day-to-day will involve identifying potential security vulnerabilities, conducting risk assessments, and developing proactive strategies to mitigate threats before they materialise. You will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR, providing a secure and compliant operational framework.

We are looking for someone who is not just a problem-solver, but a visionary in cloud security. You should possess a deep understanding of public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and be adept at implementing security controls, identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, network security, and security monitoring tools. Your role will extend to incident response planning, automation of security tasks, and continuous improvement of our security posture through vulnerability management and penetration testing insights. You’ll contribute to the selection and deployment of security tools and technologies, ensuring they integrate seamlessly into our existing ecosystems while enhancing overall protection.
