Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly skilled and proactive Cloud Security Technician to join our growing team in Al Jimi, Al Ain. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our cloud infrastructure and data against an ever-evolving threat landscape. You will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining robust security controls across various cloud platforms, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, manage, and monitor cloud security solutions and controls across platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Perform regular security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing on cloud environments to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, including investigation, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-mortem analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, local UAE regulations) and industry security standards.
  • Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, procedures, and best practices for cloud deployments.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline and promote security-by-design principles.
  • Stay updated with the latest cloud security trends, threats, and technologies, recommending and implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on cloud security matters to internal teams and stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in cloud security, specifically with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security architecture, best practices, and security services (e.g., IAM, Security Groups, WAF, KMS).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation.
  • Experience with security monitoring tools (SIEM), intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and vulnerability management solutions.
  • Familiarity with network security principles, including firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation in cloud environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex security issues.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, CCSK, CCSP).
  • Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing security.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or PCI DSS.
  • Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
