  • Accurately read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining sequences.
  • Select, install, and adjust appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and workholding devices for different materials and operations.
  • Monitor machine operations continuously, detecting any malfunctions, tool wear, or irregularities, and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
  • Perform precise inspection of finished components using a variety of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.) to verify adherence to required dimensions and tolerances.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs, to ensure their longevity and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and scrap rates.
  • Strictly adhere to all company safety regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed production records, including daily output, machine downtime, and materials used.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineers, supervisors, and other workshop technicians to optimize manufacturing processes and resolve technical challenges.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and understanding G-code programming.
  • Strong knowledge of various metallic materials (e.g., steel, stainless steel, cast iron, alloys) and their machining properties.
  • Expertise in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
  • Solid understanding of machining principles, including cutting parameters (feeds, speeds), tool geometry, and surface finishes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing high-quality, accurate components.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine and process issues effectively.
  • Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment.
