Job Description
Are you eager to dive into the bustling world of coffee and customer service? Career.zycto is excited to partner with a charming, community-focused coffee shop in the heart of Roundhay, Leeds, seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their team as a Part-Time Barista. This is an incredible entry-level opportunity designed for someone passionate about learning the craft of coffee making, even if you have no prior experience. We believe that a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are the most crucial ingredients for success, and we’re committed to nurturing your potential in a supportive environment.
In this dynamic role, you’ll be at the forefront of creating delightful experiences for our customers. You’ll embark on a journey to learn the art of espresso preparation, from understanding different bean profiles and grinding techniques to mastering the perfect milk steaming and latte art, all under the guidance of experienced colleagues. Beyond the technical skills, you’ll master the art of hospitality – greeting customers with a warm smile, efficiently taking and accurately fulfilling orders, and ensuring every visitor leaves with a handcrafted beverage and a positive impression. This position offers a fantastic pathway into the hospitality industry, where you can develop invaluable interpersonal skills, build confidence, and become an integral part of a vibrant local community.
Our partner coffee shop prides itself on its welcoming atmosphere, high-quality offerings, and commitment to local patrons. You’ll be contributing to a place where locals gather, friends connect, and the irresistible aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills the air. This isn’t just about making coffee; it’s about being a vital part of the daily ritual for many, providing a moment of comfort and enjoyment. You’ll receive comprehensive training on all aspects of coffee preparation, food safety standards, efficient cash handling, and exemplary customer interaction, ensuring you feel confident and fully supported in your new role. If you’re a quick learner, enjoy working in a fast-paced yet friendly environment, and love making people smile with delicious beverages, this could be your perfect start. We’re looking for someone ready to roll up their sleeves, contribute to a positive team spirit, and grow with us. Your dedication to learning and providing exceptional service will be key to your success and enjoyment in this role.
