Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to commercial banking relationship managers and clients.
- Process and manage client documentation, including account opening forms, loan applications, and other critical records, ensuring accuracy and strict compliance with regulations.
- Assist with transaction processing, wire transfers, funds transfers, and daily account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Handle client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing professional, courteous, and timely resolutions to ensure high client satisfaction.
- Maintain up-to-date client files and databases, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and adherence to privacy protocols.
- Prepare detailed reports, impactful presentations, and professional correspondence as required by the commercial banking team for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel logistics for relationship managers, optimizing their schedules and efficiency.
- Ensure strict adherence to all banking regulations, internal policies, and operational procedures to mitigate risks and maintain compliance.
- Support the branch’s overall operational efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to a positive, productive client and employee experience.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to achieve collective goals and enhance service delivery.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 18 months) in an administrative or support role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data management, reporting, and communication.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document review.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, suitable for professional client interaction and internal reporting.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and also collaborate effectively as part of a cohesive team.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and client information.
Preferred Qualifications
- A National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a closely related field.

- Basic knowledge of commercial banking products and services, including loans, deposits, and treasury management.
