Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and portion ingredients according to chef's instructions (mise en place).
  • Assist in cooking and plating dishes under the supervision of senior chefs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, including stations, equipment, and storage.
  • Monitor and manage food inventory, ensuring proper rotation and minimizing waste.
  • Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Learn and master various cooking techniques, knife skills, and recipes.
  • Support the Head Chef and other culinary team members as needed.
  • Receive and store deliveries, checking for quality and quantity.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
