Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior chefs with daily food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and stored.
  • Learn and execute various cooking methods and plating techniques under the guidance of Demi Chefs and Chefs de Partie.
  • Monitor food stock and communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supplies are available.
  • Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP standards) at all times.
  • Support the kitchen team during service, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of dishes.
  • Participate in receiving and storing deliveries, checking for quality and quantity.
  • Contribute to menu development discussions and creative culinary ideas when appropriate.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and personal development within the kitchen.
