Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive commissioning plans, procedures, and reports for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and control systems.
- Conduct thorough site inspections and witness testing of equipment and systems to ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform functional performance tests, integrated system tests, and seasonal commissioning activities.
- Identify, log, and track deficiencies and non-conformances, working collaboratively with project teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Provide technical guidance and support during the installation and startup phases of projects.
- Prepare detailed commissioning documentation, including test reports, O&M manuals, and training materials.
- Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project execution and handover.
- Participate in client training sessions and final system demonstrations.
- Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are strictly adhered to during commissioning activities.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commissioning building services or industrial systems.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical power distribution, building management systems (BMS), and control systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) or similar certification.
- Experience with various commissioning software and tools.
- Knowledge of relevant German building codes and standards (e.g., VDI guidelines).
- Fluency in German (B2 level or higher) is a significant advantage.
