Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Communications Executive with a flair for both traditional press relations and cutting-edge digital content strategy to join our vibrant team in Clapham, London. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans for press and digital channels, aligning with overall business objectives.
  • Draft and distribute compelling press releases, media advisories, and pitches to targeted national and local media outlets.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, positive relationships with journalists, editors, bloggers, and key media influencers to secure impactful coverage.
  • Proactively monitor media coverage, analyze trends, and provide comprehensive reports on the effectiveness and ROI of PR and digital campaigns.
  • Generate engaging and SEO-optimised content for our website, blog, email newsletters, and various social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram).
  • Manage and update company social media profiles, ensuring brand consistency, fostering community engagement, and responding to inquiries.
  • Assist in the coordination and seamless execution of virtual and in-person events, including press conferences, industry webinars, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Support internal communications initiatives, ensuring consistent and transparent messaging across all levels of the organisation.
  • Identify and leverage proactive opportunities for thought leadership and executive profiling through speaking engagements and contributed articles.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, talent acquisition, and product development teams to ensure integrated and impactful communication strategies.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail, grammar, and engaging storytelling.
  • Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in media relations, including writing persuasive press releases, media advisories, and pitching stories successfully.
  • Demonstrable experience managing corporate social media accounts and creating engaging digital content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Strong understanding of the digital media landscape, including SEO best practices, content marketing principles, and social media analytics.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team player in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
