Based in the vibrant city of Bristol, this full-time role offers unparalleled growth potential, particularly for those passionate about public health and community well-being. We understand that leadership in community health requires a unique blend of empathy, organisational skills, and a deep understanding of local needs. That’s why this position comes with comprehensive training designed to equip you with all the necessary tools and knowledge to excel in a supervisory capacity, even if you’re new to a lead role.
As a Community Health Lead Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of delivering and overseeing critical health programmes and initiatives across various Bristol communities. You will mentor and guide a team of dedicated community health workers, ensuring high standards of service delivery and consistent engagement with residents. Your role will involve strategic planning, operational management, and fostering collaborative relationships with local stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community groups, and local authorities. This isn’t just a job; it’s a chance to significantly impact lives, reduce health disparities, and empower individuals to take control of their health.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in health or social care, who possesses excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to community development. While previous supervisory experience is beneficial, it is not strictly essential, as our tailored training programme will bridge any gaps, focusing on leadership development, programme management, team coordination, and advanced community engagement techniques. You will learn to navigate complex community challenges, implement effective health interventions, and drive positive behavioural change. If you are a proactive problem-solver with a compassionate approach and a desire to lead a team towards meaningful outcomes, we encourage you to apply. Join us and become a pivotal part of Bristol’s health landscape, fostering a healthier, more resilient community for all.
