As a Company Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operations of our organization, providing transportation for executives, staff, and occasionally important documents or packages across Lagos, primarily within Victoria Island and its environs. We are looking for someone with an impeccable driving record, a deep understanding of Lagos road networks, and a commitment to punctuality and discretion. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport company personnel, including executives and staff, to various destinations as per schedule or ad-hoc requests.
- Maintain the company vehicle(s) in a clean, tidy, and excellent working condition, performing daily checks on oil, water, battery, tires, and brakes.
- Arrange for timely vehicle servicing, repairs, and other maintenance activities as required, keeping detailed logs of all work done.
- Plan routes efficiently using navigation tools (e.g., Google Maps) to avoid traffic congestion and ensure timely arrivals.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of passengers and the vehicle at all times.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of packages or documents when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and travel expenses.
- Exhibit discretion and confidentiality regarding company matters encountered during duty.
- Provide professional and courteous service to all passengers.
- Be available for occasional extended hours or weekend duties as operational needs demand.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class E minimum).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience in Lagos.
- Excellent knowledge of Lagos road networks, shortcuts, and traffic patterns.
- Proven track record of safe driving with no major accidents or traffic offenses.
- Strong understanding of basic vehicle mechanics and routine maintenance.
- Ability to use navigation applications (e.g., Google Maps, Waze).
- Punctuality, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Defensive Driving Certification.
- Experience driving luxury or executive vehicles.
