Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, servers, network devices).
- Perform basic diagnostic tests and troubleshooting to identify hardware issues.
- Conduct routine hardware checks and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Replace faulty hardware components such as RAM, hard drives, power supplies, and graphics cards.
- Install and upgrade operating systems and software applications.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware assets and components.
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users for hardware-related queries.
- Document all maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure proper disposal of old or damaged hardware in an environmentally responsible manner.
