Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with the assembly, installation, and configuration of computer hardware components (e.g., CPUs, RAM, motherboards, storage devices).
- Perform basic diagnostic checks and troubleshooting on desktops, laptops, and peripherals to identify common issues.
- Support the maintenance and repair of IT equipment, including cleaning and replacing faulty parts under supervision.
- Manage IT asset inventory, including tracking hardware components, recording movements, and updating documentation.
- Prepare and image new workstations and laptops according to company standards.
- Provide basic technical support to end-users for hardware-related queries and issues.
- Assist with cable management and ensuring a tidy and organized work environment in server rooms and office spaces.
- Document all service activities, repairs, and inventory updates accurately and promptly.
- Learn and adhere to company safety protocols and IT security policies.
- Participate in training sessions and continuous learning initiatives to enhance technical skills.
Required Skills
- Strong foundational knowledge of computer hardware components and their functions.
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and common software applications.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work effectively within a team.
- Manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
