Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic technical support to students and staff using the computer lab, assisting with common software applications and hardware issues.
- Monitor the computer lab during operational hours, ensuring an organized, clean, and productive learning environment.
- Assist in the routine setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer hardware, software, and peripherals (printers, scanners, projectors).
- Install and update software as directed, ensuring all systems are running the latest versions and security patches.
- Help manage user accounts and access permissions for lab computers.
- Report more complex technical issues to the appropriate IT personnel for resolution.
- Maintain an inventory of computer lab equipment and report any damages or malfunctioning items.
- Educate users on proper computer usage, lab rules, and digital citizenship best practices.
- Assist with creating and updating documentation for common lab procedures and user guides.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed within the computer lab.
- Assist with data backup procedures as required.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive atmosphere within the school community.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software (Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite).
- Familiarity with internet browsers and basic networking concepts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.

Preferred Qualifications
