Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival, assist with check-in and check-out processes, and offer personalized orientation to the property and local area.
- Provide comprehensive information and recommendations on local attractions, dining, entertainment, shopping, and cultural events.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfactory resolution.
- Arrange and confirm reservations for restaurants, transportation (taxis, car hire, airport transfers), tours, and other services.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries for guests.
- Maintain an updated knowledge base of hotel services, policies, and local events to provide accurate and relevant information.
- Assist with luggage handling, storage, and retrieval as required.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance to enhance their overall experience.
- Collaborate with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, front desk) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby/reception area.
- Perform administrative tasks such as logging requests, maintaining guest profiles, and preparing daily reports.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a concierge, front desk, or guest services role within the hospitality industry.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Extensive local knowledge of Allerton, Liverpool, and surrounding areas, including attractions, dining, and transport links.
