Key Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, erecting scaffolding, and loading/unloading materials.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently (e.g., drills, saws, jackhammers, compactors).
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) with various tasks as needed.
- Mix and pour concrete, asphalt, and other building materials.
- Erect and dismantle temporary structures, forms, and supports.
- Monitor equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
- Adhere strictly to all site safety regulations, protocols, and best practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent hazards.
- Transport materials and equipment around the construction site.
- Follow instructions from site supervisors and foremen diligently.
- Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions immediately.
