Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled concrete workers and supervisors with various tasks on construction sites.
- Prepare work areas by clearing debris, setting up forms, and ensuring safety standards are met.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, including rebar, concrete bags, and tools.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively under direct supervision (e.g., shovels, wheelbarrows, concrete mixers).
- Help with the mixing, pouring, spreading, and leveling of concrete.
- Perform general labor duties such as digging, cleaning up spills, and maintaining a tidy worksite.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Learn and adapt to new techniques and processes introduced by experienced professionals.
