Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as directed.
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning, organizing materials, and removing debris.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision (e.g., shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, drills).
- Dig trenches, compact earth, and mix concrete or mortar as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering strictly to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Transport materials between work areas and assist with the setup and dismantling of temporary structures.
- Perform general labor duties to support overall project progress.
- Learn and apply new construction techniques and practices as guided by supervisors.
